Maritime Premises Access Agreement

Westpoint Harbor requires all workers performing any kind of maintenance or labor on any boat in the harbor to carry liability insurance, workers’ compensation insurance, and to execute a hold harmless agreement.

The general liability insurance must be primary and it will not contribute with any other insurance that Westpoint Harbor maintains.

Sole proprietorships with no employees will not be required to have workers’ compensation insurance. They will however be required to sign a statement stating that they are a sole proprietorship and execute a Contractor Liability Agreement.

Proof of insurance and an executed hold harmless agreement must be submitted to the harbormaster prior to the commencement of any work on the harbor premises.

Should you have any questions, please contact the harbormaster.

Sincerely,
Westpoint Harbor Harbormaster
